Active management

Active management refers to a professional(s) that monitor a client’s investment portfolio’s performance and make regular buy, hold, and sell decisions about the positions in it. The goal is to outperform the market. When deciding which assets to buy and sell, active managers can use investment analysis, research, and predictions, along with their own judgment and expertise.
